DANCER AND CHOREOGRAPHER

Ageliki Gouvi (she/her) is a dancer and choreographer born in Heraklion- Crete, Greece. She studied dance at the Thessalian Ballet in Larisa, the Greek National Opera Ballet School, and the State School of Dance (KSOT) in Athens. In 2013 she graduated with a Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School in England as an awardee of the Greek State Scholarship Foundation IKY. Since 2015, she is based in Berlin where she is active on the freelance scene as a dancer and choreographer.

Ageliki has been a guest of Sasha Waltz Company since 2013 and has been involved in numerous performances with the company up until today. Parallelly, she has been developing her own choreographic work and teaching dance and Yoga. She is also currently a student at the Hellenic Open University in the European Cultural Studies department.
