Anestis is a Berlin-based DJ and member of the Wohnzimmer030 collective. His selections draw on classic, soulful and vocal house, with gospel harmonies, disco rhythms and records that feel warm without standing still.

House music surrounded him from an early age through his parents’ club. It taught him that a record never exists in isolation: its effect changes with the room, the hour and the people listening. That awareness still shapes the way he selects and plays.

He does not arrive with a fixed script. Each set develops from the situation itself and may lean deep and restrained, bright and uplifting, or direct and driving, while remaining rooted in the same musical language. Anestis plays mainly on vinyl, ideally on two turntables and a rotary mixer, and uses digital formats when they better suit the setting. What carries through is a careful ear for contrast, pacing and the moment a dancefloor is ready for something else.
