Antony Gastaldi
Born in Antibes, France, in 2006, the German-French bass Antony Gastaldi received acting training from an early age at the Théâtre Antibéa and later appeared in television commercials and film projects. From 2023, he took singing lessons with soprano Maria Husmann, and participated in masterclasses as well as concert and staged projects under her guidance in Hamburg, Berlin, and Vienna.
Since October 2024, he has been studying singing with Prof. Karlheinz Hanser at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Since 2025, he appeared as The Policeman in “The Boatswain’s Mate” by Ethel Smyth and as a Dancer in “Don Pasquale” at Schlosstheater Schönbrunn. He also performed the role of Caronte from Monteverdi’s “L’Orfeo” at the Neue Studiobühne, as well as Colas in a children’s adaptation from Robert Simma of Mozart’s “Bastien und Bastienne”.
In November he will appear as Collatinus in “The Rape of Lucretia” by Benjamin Britten on the Neue Studiobühne in a production of Enia Cosic.
