Areti Koltsida (classical guitar) and Lefteris Andriotis (cretan lyra) present a duo version of the Between Seas Trio.

Built around Areti's original compositions, the Cretan lyra with sympathetic strings and the classical guitar come together in a musical dialogue that draws from the modal traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean, contemporary art music, and improvisation.

Rooted in the aesthetic of Between Seas Trio, the two musicians explore a more intimate and flexible musical interaction, where improvisation and interplay become essential elements of the performance.

Since 2023, Between Seas Trio has been creating contemporary instrumental music inspired by the musical traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean and has been actively performing on the Greek music scene.
