MUSICIAN

Augustina Mastori was born and raised on the island of Andros, a place that has deeply shaped her personality and artistic sensibility. After completing her studies in Chemistry in Athens, she felt the need to return to the place where she grew up, choosing once again to live by the sea and embrace the familiar rhythms of island life.

Her encounter with the santouri proved to be a defining moment. Captivated by the instrument’s unique timbre and expressive power, she began her musical journey five years ago. Her love for music soon evolved into a deeper exploration, leading her to pursue formal musical studies. She is currently a student in the Department of Music Studies at the University of Ioannina, where she continues, with dedication, to develop her knowledge and artistic expression.
