Mirja Gastaldi is a Berlin-based visual artist whose work moves between figurative drawing, painting, and experimental textile-based practices. After studying Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), she spent fourteen years living and teaching in the South of France before returning to Berlin, where she continues her artistic practice alongside teaching workshops for children and adults.

Her work explores the expressive potential of materials, combining painting with textiles, fabrics, and mixed media to create layered, tactile compositions. In her workshops, she encourages participants to experiment freely, sharpen their observation, and discover their own visual language through an intuitive and playful creative process.
